We recommend for any services in which we will physically deliver to you on the day of your event that you book around 12 months in advance. We can accept bookings up to 24 months in advance and recommend you do not book any less than 2 months in advance to avoid disappointment.

If you have a last-minute event you would like to book and can see availability in our calendar, we will still recommend last-minute bookings reach out to us via our contact page below to ensure we can make it to your venue.

Yes. Illustrations are all digitally made and can usually be produced on the same day if needed. If they are printed orders, this can be via same-day delivery.

Usually, we have stock available for sweet orders. Depending on how last-minute your event is, we may not be able to personalise the stock or décor for you. Two weeks is usually the cut-off point for this.
For physical orders, such as the sweet shop or lawn games, we can usually make last-minute bookings if we are still available that day.

No, you can secure any of our services with a minimum £50 deposit that goes towards the cost of your booking.

Full payment needs to be made 4 weeks prior to your event unless otherwise agreed. Payments for illustrations need to be made in full before the order is sent.

We do not partner with finance leaders, so we are unable to offer you loans for your orders.

However, we can accept payment instalments if your event is far enough in advance. For example, your event is 9 months away and you place an order of £500 worth of services. You pay a £50 deposit today and then pay £56.25 every month between now and your date to make your payments more manageable.

That means your orders will still need to be paid in full before you receive the service, but that there is no interest when you spread the cost!

We accept bank transfer and payment links.

Six rustic-style giant games (limbo, connect 4, jenga, chip n golf, tic tac toe, and cornhole), as well as some neutral decorative pieces. All the accessories needed to play these games will be included in the bundle. The games will not be manned, but instructions will be made an available for your guests to be able to make the most of the experience!

On the morning of your event, we will liaise with your chosen contact or coordinator about the weather. If needed, we can set the games up in an inside venue.

If it has been pre-arranged, we also have a small marque to cover the games in instances of light rain.

We will reach out to your venue about a month before your event to ensure these kinds of logistics are covered.

We can provide the venue with measurements in advance if needed. The trailer is a standard rice horse trailer, and we will need access via car to tow the trailer to the desired location.

Yes. We can provide halal sweet, vegan sweets, and effectively help you produce a menu for your event! Some people even choose colour-themed sweets to help match their aesthetic!

We are happy to have consultations to help you understand the amount needed for your event, when the best time to open the sweet shop is, and how we can best cater to you and your guests.

A comprehensive list of ingredients for each type of sweet can be shared with you before your event to ensure you are happy we have appropriately catered to your guests’ needs.

Yes! If you are unsure, we can also recommend a package with you that is colourful and diverse for different taste buds!

Some people may want something seasonal (Christmas, Valentines, Halloween…etc.) colour-coded, or themed. It can be a lot of fun designing a package that is unique to your event.

This question is usually less around logistics and more around specific rules venues have about outside catering. We can reach out to your venue on your behalf if you are unsure, but venues ought to be upfront about if this kind of service is allowed in their establishment, or if they prefer all food to be inhouse.

Children enjoy the experience of the sweet shop and some of our lawn games (especially cornhole and tic tac toe). However, some of the games are heavy duty and it is not recommended that children play on them. All participants are sober and responsible when using them, and should use them according to the instructions provided.

Any children using these products should be always supervised by a responsible adult to avoid injury.

Yes. The shop itself is a light blue, and the interior is deliberately neutral, light grey so that it can go with any style.
We can discuss decoration when we have a consultation if you choose the personalisation package.

Illustrations are not hand-made, which offers the benefit of very fast delivery! If you order just digital copies, we can usually have them made within a week (or sooner if needed).

If you choose to have them printed, we usually need at least two weeks to manage expectations. However, express orders can be made if needed – please consult us before booking.

There are three styles to select from, and examples are given before booking on the website so you can choose to your preference. If you are unsure, we can provide samples from one or two photos.
If you are unhappy with one or two of the illustrations, we are able to try and readjust them. We may ask for different photos of the subjects to help with this process.

We cannot offer refunds if digital copies have already been delivered.
The reason for this is that once the images have been released, we are unable to control the redistribution of those images from user.
However, if there are issues with physical copies that pertain to spoilage in transit we can usually replace these orders free of charge if they are returned to us promptly.

Once we have provided you with the images they are yours to use as you please on the condition that they are not resold or used for any other commercial purposes.

Any public reproduction of the images, such as over social media, should acknowledge Playing for Keeps as the creator.
